Pakkirappa Hunagundi is a 30 year-old from Western India that has quite the peculiar habit. He is addicted to something that endangers his own well being, but it’s not drugs. It’s believed that he has a disorder that causes him to behave strangely and crave something absolutely unbelievable. His family is begging him to get help, but nothing can stop Pakkirappa.

30 year-old Pakkirappa is addicted to eating bricks, dirt, mud and stone.
He has been doing it since he was only 10 years-old.
It's thought that he has Pica, a condition which makes people crave non-edible food.
Doctors believe that a mineral deficiency can cause Pica. The body naturally craves nutrients its not getting due to an underlying disorder, such as celiac disease or a hookworm infection.
Pakkirappa doesn't crave normal food.
He typically eats 1 brick a day, as well as handfuls of dirt and stone.
His family wishes he would stop and they encourage to eat normal food.

It's hard to imagine craving THIS.
