When Turbo the Chihuahua arrived at the Downtown Veterinarian in Indianapolis, the adorable pup was wrapped in a towel and unable to walk…
Why was he unable to walk? The little fellow was born without front legs…
Other than this obvious disability, Turbo is otherwise healthy, but the couple who owned him couldn’t take care of him and had been unable to find a vet who would take him in.
Then they found the team at Downtown Veterinarian.
Finding the little bundle extremely motivating, they set to work putting the puppy through physical therapy and not just that — they built him some Chihuahua-sized front wheels.
With a bit of ingenuity, they crafted a wheelchair out of a toy helicopter and toy welding kit…
Turbo is running around now and his future is looking much brighter.
But even before he got his new front “legs,” Turbo was already the cutest pup in the vet’s office…
