A family of elephants crosses the Ewaso Nyiro river that runs through Kenya’s Ol Pejeta Conservancy. Though the river is swollen with recent rains, the current has no effect on the adult elephants. It is, however, too much for a 6-month-old calf.
She begins to be washed away down the river until one of her aunts catches her and takes care of her until mom can come back and the two adults can help the baby to calmer waters…
