Anyone can buy tickets to a baseball game and propose to their significant other, but if you want to take it to the next level — a jumbotron appearance or perhaps a commemorative DVD — you’ll have to pay up.
Molly Fitzpatrick undertook the task of calling every Major League Baseball team to see what it would cost to put on a big proposal. From $38.50 to get a message on the board at PNC Park in Pittsburgh to $2,500 to have the proposal featured live on the video board at Dodger Stadium in Los Angeles, proposals can set a couple back about as much as the cost of the wedding rings.
If a big game proposal isn’t your thing, you’ll be happy to know that five ballparks don’t allow the romantic spectacle at all…
