Japanese artist Kumi Yamashita has a talent for utilizing the must unusual thing when it comes to his art: shadows. By strategically using light, he manages to create wonderful pieces of art that come alive when you see the shadows they cast.
Kumi says he sculpts using light and shadow, by constructing single or multiple objects and then placing them in relation to a single light source. The complete artwork is therefore comprised of both the material (the solid objects) and the immaterial (the light and shadow).

Now this is art, simply amazing how he manages to create these. Well and light did its part too, so I can’t forget to give light some credit too.
