Sometimes, understanding other cultures is difficult. So many things can become lost in translation. Not only that, but all cultures are totally unique. Religious upbringings, customs and even familial traditions separate us from each other.
But no matter how much understanding you will try to muster, it’ll be impossible to see why these Japanese inventions exist. They’re downright nutty.

It’s impossible to understand why any of these exist… but it’s even more difficult to understand why anyone would buy them (because that happens). Although… those expensive square watermelon DO seem cool.
