When Richard Dunn accepted a voucher to give up his seat on a flight from Las Vegas to his home in Georgia, he immediately set to work trying to occupy a long, lonely overnight stay at McCarran International Airport.
A native of Canada, Dunn settled on recording a lip sync video of Celine Dion’s 1996 version of the lonely ballad, “All By Myself.” Waiting until 2:00 AM, when most of the airport was cleared out, he used tape, a ruler, and his luggage to create a crude tripod for his iPhone.
Using escalators and moving walkways to pan and zoom the camera, Dunn spent the rest of his night recording comedy gold…
