When bartender Christina Summitt’s tattoo of a dog paw was noticed by a customer last weekend, she explained her love of animals and recounted some of the pets she’d rescued. During the conversation she mentioned her current struggle to pay a $2,700 vet bill for surgery to remove a tennis ball her Lab/Great Dane mix Tucker had swallowed.
Summitt was prepared to sell her car to pay the bill, but the stranger from out of town had something else in mind…
