Emma is a special needs dog who was born with a birth defect that left her hind legs paralyzed. Still, she doesn’t let her lack of mobility stop her from rushing to the door with unbridled enthusiasm to welcome her airman owner who was returning home from a six-month-long deployment in Afghanistan.
Emma is just as much of a hero as her air force daddy. What her legs lack, her spirit clearly makes up for in spades.
