Pro golfer insists this 102-foot putt is impossible, trash-talking Jack Nicklaus disagrees

Four years ago, during the opening round at Jack Nicklaus’s brand new Golf Club at Harbor Shores, Johnny Miller’s ball fell 102 feet short of the hole. The ball landed on the green but was in an area that was intended for chipping with a wedge since the hole was about 6-8 feet higher in elevation, making a putt extremely difficult.

Nicklaus, however, didn’t want his brand new course hacked with divots and insisted that Miller putt his ball. When Miller protested that a putt was impossible from where he was, Nicklaus dropped a ball next to Miller’s to demonstrate how the putt should be done…
