Through out history man has always had a trusty companion by his site, a creature so attached to us it’s called man’s best friend.

I’m speaking of dogs of course, but how much do you know about our four legged friends? You probably know they go “woof” and love to chew on bones, but I’m sure you didn’t know most of these crazy facts about dogs:

1) Stray dogs in Russia have figured out how to use the subway system in order to travel to more populated areas in search of food.
2) Dogs don’t enjoy being hugged as much as humans and primates do. Canines interpret putting a limb over another animal as a sign of dominance.
3) Two stray dogs in Afghanistan saved 50 American soliders. A Facebook group raised $21,000 to bring the dogs back to the US and reunite them with the soldiers.
