If test scores are the measure of academics, New York high school senior Kwasi Enin is among the top in the country. But if who accepts you into their college is the measure, then he is at the absolute top, in a tier by himself.
A couple years ago, he got the idea to apply to all eight of the Ivy League schools, which he did this year as he planned for his college career. After getting a letter last week from Harvard, he’d finally heard back from them all. And they all accepted him.

His guidance counselor Nancy Winkler says,
My heart skipped a beat when he told me he was applying to all eight. It’s a big deal when we have students apply to one or two Ivies. To get into one or two is huge. It was extraordinary.
College admissions expert Katherine Cohen says his next step should be to inform each school that the others are courting him so they will all compete with the best possible financial package. Considering the popularity of this story, however, he might be able to just sit back and let the competition begin without his initiation.
Congratulations, Enin, and good luck at the school of your choice.
